    Nurses play a critical role in safeguarding public health, yet gaps in access to quality care persist across many communities in the U.S. Investing in a strong, resilient nursing workforce is essential to ensuring better health outcomes nationwide. One way we do this is by partnering with the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) on scholarships that invest in the next generation of nursing professionals.

    Financial aid programs

    There are a variety of financial assistance programs available to you. Each one differs slightly.

    Loan forgiveness

    You work for a healthcare facility, and they pay off some or all of your student loan while you work there.

    Certification costs

    You work for a healthcare facility and they pay for you to get a certification.

    Tuition reimbursement

    You work for a healthcare facility and they reimburse you for some or all of your nursing school expenses.

    Residency programs

    You work for a healthcare facility with a dedicated program that helps you transition from student to professional nurse.

    Continuing education

    You work for a healthcare facility and they offer continuing education classes at no cost.
