Our commitment to nursing

For more than 125 years, Johnson & Johnson has been proud to advocate for, elevate, and empower the nursing profession, as we know that nurses are the backbone of health care.

Why be a nurse?

A career in nursing is one of the most exciting and rewarding occupations. Nurses provide vital hands-on patient care, but that’s not all they do. They are leaders, innovators, educators, change makers helping improve access to care.

Career advice and inspiration

When new ideas can save lives, nurse innovators need support to move from bedside to boardroom. Their firsthand experience helps them identify patient needs and shape the future of healthcare, as seen in stories from leaders inspiring the next generation.

Why specialize as a nurse?

Once you’re a Registered Nurse you can take your career in so many new directions by specializing in an area you really enjoy.

Award-winning show creator, host, and executive producer

Telling stories that matter in meaningful, entertaining, and conversational ways in order to engage everyone from all walks of life has been Rebecca McInroy’s mission in radio and podcast production from an early age. Even as a child Rebecca was creating radio shows on cassette tape and for 7 years as she traveled and studied around the world she continued to record everything from lectures, to conversations with shop owners, to calls to prayer across the Middle East, and used those recordings to make her first fully formed radio documentaries.

After following her curiosity and studying Archaeology in Israel, Journalism in Greece, and Anthropology in Iowa she found her home in public radio. After 20 years of hosting, creating, and producing award-winning shows for public radio, and researching radio history and media as an academic, Rebecca McInroy now runs two production companies and collaborates with organizations, professionals, universities, radio stations, artists, writers, actors, and tech companies to design and develop audio experiences that ignites conversation and profoundly elevates stories in enriching, inspiring, and dynamic ways.

She is currently the Executive Producer for the Johnson & Johnson podcast with the American Nurses Association, SEE YOU NOW; the creator, co-host, and Executive Producer of the podcast American Compassion with FindHelp.org; the creator, co-host, and Executive Producer for Two Guys on Your Head, and she frequently lectures and consults on podcasting, radio history, and content creation.
