0:01: If you saw me outside of this video, would you think I was a nurse?

0:04: Probably not, but that's one of the reasons why I love being a nurse.

0:07: We treat patients from so many different cultures and backgrounds.

0:10: And when my patients look at me and they see that I look like them, they feel more comfortable.

0:15: And when they feel more comfortable, they cooperate with treatment.

0:18: And when they cooperate with treatment, it results in a healthy and happy patient.

0:22: So if you want to be a nurse, go ahead and do it.

0:24: If you're black and you want to be a nurse, go ahead and do it.

0:27: If you're a man and you want to be a nurse, what are you waiting for?

0:31: If you have tattoos and piercings, that's not stopping anything.

0:35: We welcome diversity.

0:36: Your patients will accept you for who you are, it will embrace you, and they will never, ever forget you.
